What are your school fees?

What curriculum do you follow?

We follow a mainstream CAPS curriculum.

Will my child be able to do his Matric at POM?

Yes, your child can do Matric at Piece of Mind.

With what department are you registered?

We are registered with the Department of Education, Social Development, and Inclusive Education.

From what age can I enroll my child?

We accept children from the age of 2 and a half years.

What type of learners do you cater for?

Piece of Mind caters to a variety of learners, including those with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, SPD, ASD (autism, Aspergers), and auditory processing disorder. We welcome any child who does not want to be confined to the mainstream box.

 

What is your teaching motto/perspective?

Our teaching motto is centered around the belief that children should learn through play. We take a play-based and fun approach, incorporating a multi-sensory method to ensure that all types of learners can benefit from our teaching.

 

How many children are there in a classroom?

The number of children in a classroom depends on their age. Smaller children (2-5 years old) require more one-on-one attention. Our classes typically range from 6 to 12 learners per class, with the majority having two teachers.

Tell me more about your teachers.

All of our teachers are highly qualified and have a passion for helping learners reach their full potential. Most teachers hold degrees in psychology, providing them with additional knowledge to better understand the learners' needs.

Does my child need a diagnosis to be enrolled?

No, a diagnosis is not required for enrollment. You are welcome to schedule an appointment with us, and if necessary, we can refer you to the best specialists who can assist with a diagnosis.
